James Chung is currently a member of General Motors Asset Management team where he provides oversight of GM pension investments in public markets. Prior to joining General Motors, James had been a senior member of J.P. Morgan Asset Management Portfolio Analysis Group where he served as a value-added source of independent analysis on performance measurement, attribution and portfolio risk. James was also part of the investment team at Silicon Valley Community Foundation where he was responsible for portfolio oversight of $5+ billion in charitable assets including their endowment. James was a resource to individual and corporate donors, wealth advisors and nonprofit clients in developing investment strategy, spending and investment policy.
James received his B.S. in Kinesiology from University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
